Yunnan Satellite TV

Yunnan Satellite TV is the provincial satellite channel of the Yunnan broadcasting group, serving southwestern China and a national audience from Kunming. Its schedule combines provincial news and current affairs, drama series and entertainment programmes, documentaries exploring the province's extraordinary ethnic diversity and natural wonders — from Shangri-La to the Mekong headwaters — and content reflecting Yunnan's position as China's gateway to Southeast Asia. The channel showcases one of the country's most culturally and ecologically rich provinces. Yunnan TV's official website, yntv.cn, publishes programme information and viewing details. Its programming reflects the twenty-five officially recognised ethnic groups of the province.
