Anhui International Channel

Anhui International Channel is the overseas-facing service of Anhui Television, the provincial broadcaster in eastern China. It repackages programmes from across the broadcaster's channels — drama, documentaries, cultural features and news about the province — for Anhui natives and Chinese-speaking viewers abroad. Programming is in Chinese and the index lists an SD feed. Provincial international channels of this kind typically reach overseas Chinese communities through satellite and local carriage agreements, keeping expatriate viewers in touch with news and entertainment from home. The broadcaster's official site, ahtv.cn, publishes channel information and is the authoritative source for authorised viewing options.
