Anhui Public Channel

Anhui Public Channel is the public-service channel of Anhui Television, launched in March 2007. Its schedule focuses on news and service programming for the province: local news bulletins, livelihood reports, public-information segments and community features. Programming is in Chinese and the index lists an SD feed for the domestic market. Public channels of this kind were set up by Chinese provincial broadcasters in the 2000s to strengthen local news and government-service communication. The broadcaster's official site, ahtv.cn, publishes channel and schedule information and is the authoritative source for authorised viewing options.
