Shaanxi Satellite TV
Shaanxi Satellite TV is the provincial satellite channel of the Shaanxi broadcasting group, serving northwestern China and a national audience from the ancient capital Xi'an. Its schedule mixes provincial news and current affairs, drama series and entertainment programmes, and documentary content drawing on one of China's deepest historical wells — the province of the Terracotta Army, the Silk Road's eastern terminus and thirteen dynasties of imperial capital. The channel gives this historically heavyweight province its national television platform. Shaanxi TV's official website, snrtv.com, publishes programme information and viewing details. Its drama co-productions have included several nationally successful historical series.
