Jilin Satellite TV

Jilin Satellite TV is the provincial satellite service of the Jilin broadcasting group, one of China's oldest television organisations with roots reaching back to 1959. Broadcasting from Changchun, its schedule combines provincial news and current affairs, drama series and entertainment programmes, documentaries about the northeast's industrial heritage and winter landscapes, and cultural content reflecting the region's character, including its Korean ethnic communities. The channel carries the traditions of one of China's pioneering provincial broadcasters into the modern satellite era. Jilin TV's official website, jlntv.cn, publishes programme information and viewing details.
