Hainan Satellite TV

Hainan Satellite TV is the provincial satellite channel of the Hainan broadcasting group, serving China's tropical island province and a national audience from Haikou. Its schedule combines provincial news and public affairs, tourism and lifestyle programming showcasing the island's beaches and resorts, drama and entertainment series, and coverage of the island's growing role as a free trade port and international destination. The channel's content naturally leans into the sun-and-sea identity that makes Hainan unique among Chinese provinces. Hainan TV's official website, hnntv.cn, publishes programme information and viewing details. The island's free trade port development has given the channel a growing economic story to tell.
