Gansu Satellite TV

Gansu Satellite TV is the provincial satellite channel of the Gansu broadcasting group, serving northwestern China and a national audience from Lanzhou. Its schedule combines provincial news and public affairs, drama series and entertainment programmes, documentaries exploring the province's Silk Road heritage and the landscapes of the Hexi Corridor, and cultural content reflecting the region's multiethnic communities. The channel provides Gansu's window to the nation and the nation's window into this historically rich but less-covered province. Gansu TV's official website, gstv.com.cn, publishes programme information and viewing details. Its documentary tradition draws on the province's extraordinary archaeological wealth.
