CCTV-4K

CCTV-4K is the ultra-high-definition general-entertainment channel of China Central Television. Launched in October 2018, it was the first 4K UHD satellite channel from China's national broadcaster, carrying documentaries, drama, variety shows, sport and major gala events produced or remastered in 4K. Programming is in Chinese and aimed at the domestic market; the index lists UHD, HD and SD versions. Because the schedule is drawn from across the CCTV network, the channel works as a showcase for the broadcaster's highest-production-value content rather than a service with its own dedicated line-up. The channel's official page on tv.cctv.com publishes schedules and authorised viewing information.
