CCTV-4 Europe

CCTV-4 Europe is the European edition of CCTV-4, China Central Television's international channel for overseas Chinese audiences. Its schedule adapts the parent channel's mix of news, current affairs, documentaries and cultural programming — in Chinese with some English-language content — to European viewing hours. Europe's Chinese communities are spread across many countries and time zones, which the regional schedule is designed to accommodate. The parent channel was created to serve Chinese-speaking communities abroad, and the index records the European edition's launch in February 2016. Official schedules and authorised viewing information are published on the channel's page at tv.cctv.com.
