CCTV-4 Asia

CCTV-4 Asia is the Asian edition of CCTV-4, China Central Television's international channel for overseas Chinese audiences. The schedule mixes news, current affairs, documentaries and cultural programming in Chinese, with some English-language content, timed for Asian viewing hours and weighted towards the region. Southeast Asia hosts some of the largest overseas Chinese communities in the world, making the region a natural priority for the international service. The parent channel was created to serve Chinese-speaking communities abroad, and the index records the Asian edition's launch in April 2015. Official schedules and authorised viewing information are published on the channel's page at tv.cctv.com.
