CCTV-16

CCTV-16 is the Olympic channel of China Central Television, launched in October 2021 in the run-up to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. It carries Olympic and international sport: live events, athlete documentaries, archival Olympic footage and magazine shows produced in cooperation with the International Olympic Committee's Olympic Channel. Between Games cycles its schedule leans on winter sports, Olympic history and qualifying events, while during the Olympics it works as a dedicated complement to the coverage on CCTV-5. The channel broadcasts nationwide in Chinese, with HD and SD versions listed in the index. Official schedules and authorised viewing information are published on the channel's page at tv.cctv.com.
