BRTV News Channel
BRTV News Channel is the rolling news service of Beijing Radio and Television Station, dedicated to coverage of the capital. Its schedule features local news bulletins, breaking stories, government announcements and current-affairs discussion focused on Beijing and its districts. Programming is in Chinese and the index lists an SD feed for the domestic market; the index records the channel's launch in April 2009. As the capital broadcaster's dedicated news outlet, it provides continuous local coverage that the generalist Beijing Satellite TV cannot sustain. The broadcaster's official site, brtn.cn, publishes schedules and is the authoritative source for authorised viewing.
