BRTV International Channel

BRTV International Channel is the overseas-facing service of Beijing Radio and Television Station. It repackages programmes from across the broadcaster's channels — cultural features, documentaries, news about the capital and entertainment — for overseas Chinese communities and international viewers interested in Beijing. Programming is in Chinese and the index lists an SD feed. Metropolitan international channels of this kind give expatriate audiences a window on their home city through satellite and carriage agreements abroad. The broadcaster's official site, brtn.cn, publishes channel information and is the authoritative source for authorised viewing.
