Beijing Satellite TV

Beijing Satellite TV is the flagship satellite channel of Beijing Radio and Television Station (BRTV), offering a general schedule of drama series, variety shows, news and cultural programming to a national audience. The service traces its origins to May 1979, when Beijing Television began broadcasting, and its satellite feed now reaches viewers across China in HD and SD. Programming is in Chinese, and the channel is best known for its locally rooted cultural and lifestyle shows alongside acquired drama; it also carries the broadcaster's major seasonal galas. The channel's official page on the BRTV website publishes schedules and is the authoritative source for authorised viewing options.
