World Channel

World Channel is a US public television service operated by a consortium including American Public Television, WGBH and The WNET Group, carried by PBS member stations nationwide. Its remit is distinctive: documentaries and news from around the globe, including strands such as America ReFramed, international newscasts and public-affairs programming that give American viewers perspectives beyond domestic media. Much of the schedule comes from independent producers and international broadcasters curated for a US audience. The channel is typically a free digital subchannel of the local PBS station. Its official site, worldchannel.org, publishes schedules and station information.
