WFMZ-HD

WFMZ-HD is the high-definition feed of WFMZ-TV, the fiercely independent local station serving Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley from Allentown. Family-owned for decades in an era of station consolidation, WFMZ has built its identity on local news volume: its 69 News operation produces hours of coverage daily for the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton region, alongside weather, sports and community programming. The station's independence lets it programme for the valley rather than a network's priorities. WFMZ's official website, wfmz.com, publishes news, schedules and authorised viewing information. The station also operates its own 24-hour weather channel and maintains studios in the heart of Allentown, giving it an unusually complete local media operation for a market of its size.
