TV Tokyo

TV Tokyo is a general television channel from Japan. The service targets a domestic audience rather than an international one. Ownership rests with TV Tokyo Corporation. Its on-air language is Japanese. Channels in the general category usually focus on a mixed schedule of series, films, news and light entertainment, and TV Tokyo follows that pattern. The channel first went on air in April 1964. The channel belongs to the TXN Network family of services. The channel transmits in standard-definition 480i. Official information, schedules and any authorised viewing options are published on the channel's official website, which is linked from this page.
