The Ohio Channel

The Ohio Channel is the public-affairs window into Ohio state government, operated by Ohio Government Telecommunications since 1996 in the tradition of C-SPAN. Its schedule carries the machinery of state democracy unedited: sessions of the Ohio House and Senate, committee hearings, Ohio Supreme Court oral arguments, governor's addresses and public-affairs programming about state issues. For citizens, journalists and researchers it provides direct access to proceedings that would otherwise require a trip to Columbus. The service is carried by Ohio's public television stations and cable systems. Its official website, ohiochannel.org, publishes the schedule and archives.
