The M

The M is the on-air identity of WMLW, Weigel Broadcasting's independent station serving Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As an independent, it programmes its own schedule: syndicated comedies and dramas, movies, local high school and college sports, and Wisconsin-focused programming that network affiliates cannot prioritise. The station shares its newsroom with sister CBS affiliate WDJT, giving its local news windows the resources of a full market news operation while retaining its own identity. The M's programme schedule and station information are published on the shared local website, cbs58.com, serving southeastern Wisconsin viewers. The station has served southeastern Wisconsin under several identities over its history.
