The Florida Channel
The Florida Channel is the public affairs window into Florida state government, operated through Florida State University in partnership with the Florida Legislature as the state's C-SPAN. Its schedule carries state democracy unedited: sessions of the Florida House and Senate, committee hearings, Supreme Court oral arguments, cabinet meetings and public affairs programming about the issues facing the nation's third-largest state. For citizens, journalists and researchers it provides direct access to Tallahassee without the drive. The Florida Channel's official website, thefloridachannel.org, publishes the schedule and archives. It has covered Florida government since the 1990s from its Tallahassee facilities.
