The Asylum

The Asylum is the channel of the B-movie studio behind Sharknado, streaming its gloriously unashamed low-budget catalogue free on Pluto TV. Its schedule runs the studio's output back to back: the mockbusters that riff on blockbuster titles, creature features, disaster movies and the shark-infested franchise that became a social media phenomenon. The Asylum has operated profitably for over two decades by making entertaining films fast and cheap, and the channel celebrates that cult legacy around the clock. The studio's official website, theasylum.cc, covers its catalogue, and the channel streams on Pluto TV.
