Oxygen

Oxygen is the true-crime network for a female-skewing audience, launched in February 2000 and now part of the Versant cable family spun out of NBCUniversal. The channel began life as a women's lifestyle service co-founded by Oprah Winfrey, but reinvented itself in 2017 around crime programming — a bet that paid off. Its schedule mixes original documentary series such as Snapped, one of cable's longest-running crime franchises, with case investigations and off-network crime dramas. Oxygen's official website, oxygen.com, publishes the schedule and authorised streaming information through participating providers The pivot made Oxygen one of the defining channels of the true-crime boom in American cable.
