ORTB TV

Broadcasting from Benin, ORTB TV is a general TV channel airing in French, Fon, Gen and 3 other languages. Its feed is carried in standard-definition 576i. The service targets a domestic audience rather than an international one. Channels in the general category usually focus on a mixed schedule of series, films, news and light entertainment, and ORTB TV follows that pattern. The service is owned by Societé de Radio et de Télévision du Bénin. It began broadcasting in December 1978. Official information, schedules and any authorised viewing options are published on the channel's official website, which is linked from this page.
