NHK World Premium

NHK World Premium is a television channel from Japan specialising in entertainment programming. Programming is presented in English, Japanese and Spanish. Channels in the entertainment category usually focus on variety shows, reality formats, game shows and celebrity programming, and NHK World Premium follows that pattern. It began broadcasting in April 1998. The service is owned by NHK World-Japan. The channel transmits in standard-definition 480i. The channel targets audiences in Americas, EMEA and APAC, so its schedule is shaped for more than one territory. For programme schedules and official viewing options, the channel's own website (linked here) is the authoritative source.
