MTV

MTV is a television channel from France, broadcasting in French. Its broadcast footprint extends across France, Belgium, Switzerland and Haiti, reaching viewers beyond its home market. It is operated under Paramount Networks EMEAA. The channel first went on air in June 2000. Channels in the entertainment category usually focus on variety shows, reality formats, game shows and celebrity programming, and MTV follows that pattern. Its feed is carried in standard-definition 576i. For programme schedules and official viewing options, the channel's own website (linked here) is the authoritative source. TVChannel.world indexes this channel as part of a worldwide directory of television services, organised by country, category and language.
