MTV Classic
MTV Classic is the nostalgia channel of the Paramount music family, launched in August 1998 as VH1 Classic before adopting its current name in 2016. Its schedule is a time capsule of music television's golden years: classic music videos from the 1980s and 1990s, vintage episodes of MTV franchises such as Unplugged and Total Request Live, and marathon blocks built around artists and eras. For viewers who remember when MTV played music, it offers exactly that — the videos and shows that defined a generation of pop culture. Programme information is published on MTV's official site, mtv.com.
