MATV

Broadcasting from Madagascar, MATV is a general TV channel airing in French and Malagasy. Its feed is carried in standard-definition 576i. The service targets a domestic audience rather than an international one. Channels in the general category usually focus on a mixed schedule of series, films, news and light entertainment, and MATV follows that pattern. The channel first went on air in May 1995. Official information, schedules and any authorised viewing options are published on the channel's official website, which is linked from this page. TVChannel.world indexes this channel as part of a worldwide directory of television services, organised by country, category and language.
