Kolkata TV

Broadcasting from India, Kolkata TV is a news TV channel airing in Bengali. Ownership rests with Kaustuv Ray. The channel first went on air in March 2006. The service targets a domestic audience rather than an international one. Channels in the news category usually focus on news bulletins, current-affairs discussion and rolling coverage of major events, and Kolkata TV follows that pattern. Its feed is carried in standard-definition 576i. The channel maintains an official website where it publishes schedules and authorised ways to watch; the link is provided in this listing. TVChannel.world indexes this channel as part of a worldwide directory of television services, organised by country, category and language.
