JOIP-DTV

Broadcasting from Japan, JOIP-DTV is a general TV channel airing in Japanese. Channels in the general category usually focus on a mixed schedule of series, films, news and light entertainment, and JOIP-DTV follows that pattern. Ownership rests with 日本放送協会. It operates as part of the NHK G network. It began broadcasting in December 2006. The service targets a domestic audience rather than an international one. Broadcasts are listed in standard-definition 480i. Official information, schedules and any authorised viewing options are published on the channel's official website, which is linked from this page.
