HSN

HSN, the Home Shopping Network, is one of America's two great televised retailers and a pioneer of the format, tracing its roots to a Florida radio sales operation that moved to television in 1982. Now part of Qurate Retail Group alongside QVC, it presents live product demonstrations around the clock: electronics, fashion, beauty, kitchenware and home goods, with celebrity guests and brand takeovers driving event-style selling. Viewers order through the channel's app or website as much as by phone these days. HSN's official site, hsn.com, publishes the programme guide and handles purchases and authorised streaming.
