HBO

HBO is a television channel from United States specialising in movies and series programming. The service is owned by Home Box Office Inc. and Warner Bros. Discovery. Its feed is carried in standard-definition 480i. The service targets a domestic audience rather than an international one. It began broadcasting in November 1972. The channel broadcasts in English and Spanish. Channels in the movies category usually focus on feature films alongside movie-themed specials and retrospectives, and HBO follows that pattern. Official information, schedules and any authorised viewing options are published on the channel's official website, which is linked from this page. TVChannel.world indexes this channel as part of a worldwide directory of television services, organised by country, category and language.
