Grit

Grit is a US broadcast network built around westerns and action programming, launched in August 2014 and now part of the Scripps Networks family under The E.W. Scripps Company. Aimed primarily at male viewers, its schedule mixes classic and contemporary western films and series with action movies — the kind of lineup where John Wayne and Clint Eastwood features sit alongside later action titles. The channel is distributed free over the air as a digital subchannel of stations in markets across the country. Grit's official website, grittv.com, publishes the schedule and a channel finder for authorised viewing.
