Galavision

Galavisión is the heritage entertainment channel of TelevisaUnivision, tracing its history to 1979 as one of the pioneering Spanish-language cable services in the United States. Its schedule draws on the deepest catalogue in Spanish-language television: classic Televisa telenovelas and comedy series, entertainment programmes, films and news, mixing nostalgia programming with current productions for Hispanic audiences. The channel complements flagship Univision and UniMás in the company's three-network broadcast strategy. Galavisión's programme information is published on the company's official site, univision.com/galavision. The channel operates on both sides of the border, serving Mexico and the US Hispanic market with related schedules drawn from the Televisa catalogue.
