FX

FX is the boundary-pushing entertainment channel of The Walt Disney Company's FX Networks, long positioned as basic cable's answer to premium drama. Its original series built the channel's reputation for adult, auteur-driven storytelling: The Shield and Nip/Tuck established the brand, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, American Horror Story, Fargo and The Americans carried it forward. The schedule complements originals with blockbuster films from the Disney library. FX programmes also reach streaming audiences through Hulu in the United States. The channel's official website, fxnetworks.com, publishes schedules and viewing information. The channel launched in 1994 and has won dozens of major television awards for its originals.
