Futura

Futura is a education television channel from Brazil. The service targets a domestic audience rather than an international one. Channels in the education category usually focus on instructional courses, lectures and learning-focused programming, and Futura follows that pattern. The channel first went on air in March 1998. Broadcasts are listed in standard-definition 480i. Its on-air language is Portuguese. Ownership rests with Grupo Globo. Official information, schedules and any authorised viewing options are published on the channel's official website, which is linked from this page. TVChannel.world indexes this channel as part of a worldwide directory of television services, organised by country, category and language.
