Defy

Defy is a US broadcast network programmed for viewers who like their reality television with grit, operated by Free TV Networks. Launched in 2021, the schedule leans on off-network reality and competition series — pawn shop dealings, forging contests, survival and blue-collar occupations — stacked in blocks designed for long viewing sessions. The channel changed hands when Scripps sold it to Free TV Networks, which continues the same male-skewing factual formula. Defy is carried free over the air as a digital subchannel in many markets. Its official website, defytvnet.com, publishes the schedule and local listings.
