CW

The CW is a US broadcast network launched in September 2006 through the merger of The WB and UPN, with Nexstar Media Group holding majority ownership since 2022. Famous for young-adult franchises such as Riverdale, The Flash and Supernatural, the network has broadened its mix in recent years with more unscripted series, acquired dramas and live sports including college football and basketball. Programming reaches viewers through affiliates in markets nationwide, free over the air. The CW's official website, cwtv.com, publishes schedules and offers authorised next-day streaming of its shows on its own platform.
