CIVK-DT-1

CIVK-DT-1 is a television channel based in Canada, with programming centred on education content. Channels in the education category usually focus on instructional courses, lectures and learning-focused programming, and CIVK-DT-1 follows that pattern. Ownership rests with Government of Quebec. The service targets a domestic audience rather than an international one. The channel transmits in standard-definition 480i. The channel first went on air in January 1984. Programming is presented in French. It operates as part of the Tele-Quebec network. The channel maintains an official website where it publishes schedules and authorised ways to watch; the link is provided in this listing.
