Channel 4

Channel 4 is a television channel based in United Kingdom, with programming centred on general content. The service targets a domestic audience rather than an international one. Programming is presented in English. Channels in the general category usually focus on a mixed schedule of series, films, news and light entertainment, and Channel 4 follows that pattern. The channel first went on air in November 1982. Its feed is carried in standard-definition 576i. The service is owned by Channel Four Television Corporation. The channel maintains an official website where it publishes schedules and authorised ways to watch; the link is provided in this listing.
