A&E
A&E is the reality entertainment powerhouse of the A+E Networks family, launched in February 1984 as the Arts & Entertainment channel before pivoting to the unscripted programming that now defines it. Its franchises are among the most recognisable in reality television: The First 48, Storage Wars, Duck Dynasty and Live PD built massive audiences by turning real lives and real jobs into long-running hits. The channel is jointly owned by Hearst and Disney and anchors a portfolio that includes History and Lifetime. A&E's official website, aetv.com, publishes schedules and authorised viewing information.
